Last year around 2,500 events were hosted for Global Entrepreneurship Week and more than 340,000 people participated across the country. To get you inspired for 2017, we’ve selected the top five events that we think you’ll love.

 

1.       Networking for Business Growth – Digital v Traditional Networking

What: Networking is a great way to meet investors, business owners, and other people in the industry; this event will show you how to use traditional forms of networking alongside social media to create new business relationships.

2.       Top Tips for Running Your Own Business Whilst Employed

What: A seminar for those of you who are still employed but wanting to take the plunge. It will cover what you need to take into account to make sure your business gets the right start.

3.       Boss Lady Brunch

What: The Female Entrepreneurs in the Northwest are hosting a panel of guest speakers sharing their journey as business women. By supporting this event you also support a platform that empowers and inspires women across the UK.

4.       Global Entrepreneurship Week Networking Event

What: We have picked a second networking event to highlight the importance of creating beneficial business relationships. Meet like-minded entrepreneurs and startup founders from around the world. The best thing about this event, however, is that you will have three minutes to pitch your idea to potential investors or cofounders!

When: 15th November, 18:30 – 21:30pm

5.       Sales Masterclass by Get Started

What: An interactive workshop designed to teach attendees how to gain new business and how to maximise sales opportunities. Delivered by Geoff Reeves who spent more than 28 years working at Coca-Cola and has more than 45 years’ experience in sales.
